By visiting our website, data is automatically recorded by our IT systems. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of the page view). This data is recorded automatically as soon as you access our website.
Part of the data is collected to guarantee error-free presentation of the website Other data may be used for analysis of your user behaviour.

This data is processed pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), insofar as your enquiry relates to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the completion of pre-contractual arrangements. In all other cases, the processing of data is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling the enquiries sent to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR if it has been requested.” You can withdraw this consent at any time. Sending us an informal notification by email is sufficient to do so.
The lawfulness of the data processing operations completed up to the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected by this withdrawal. The data entered by you in the contact form remains with us until you request us to delete it, withdraw your consent to store it or there is no purpose for storing the data (e.g. after the handling of your request has been completed). Compelling statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected in this.

 9. Recording data on our website

a) Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically records and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes:

  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the computer seeking access
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

Logs are stored on the respective production systems. These logs are deleted after 3 days. Your data is stored in a data centre in Germany (Cologne).

This data is not merged with other data sources.
The basis for the data processing is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, which permits the processing of your data.

10. Analysis tools and tools of third-party vendors

For data protection reasons, we do not deploy any analysis tools or tools of third-party vendors on our website to track your surfing behaviour!

a) Cookies

The web pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. The purpose of cookies is to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. They are small text files, which are stored on your computer and which your browser stores. b) Enabling Google Maps

This page uses the Google Maps mapping service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps it is a requirement to store your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this page has no influence on this data transmission.
Google Maps is used for the purpose of providing an attractive presentation of our online range of services and to make it easier to find the locations that we specify on the website. This represents a legitimate interest as defined by Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Google Maps is only displayed to you and enabled if you have given your consent to do so.
